Every time I thought I had a good idea, I would run it by my wife, but she would walk
away from me. I couldn't understand why. After twenty years with me, she recently asked me
to write about raising children, and she gave me ideas that I had told her years before.
She said it takes time for Japanese to accept foreign ideas.
